The Best Readers

Thank you for responding to my request for 200 readers. You went beyond that! I currently have 205 readers. This morning it was 204 and I was so excited!

There is a contest coming for you soon (as soon as I figure out what I want to do), but first a few business details.

1. You can now vote on your favorite homeschool blogs at the HSBA Post.

2. I had a post up over there this week about how we’re doing art lately, if you’re interested in that kind of thing.

3. I have a review up on my review blog about the new Jumpstart Wii game, Escape From Adventure Island with some details on how you can win your own copy.

4. My 365 picture a day project is sometimes difficult. It makes me want to take a different kind of picture every day. Which may be why I resorted to the dog’s water bucket today.

365 11-11

5. I have had to get dressed and leave in my car every single day this week and you can tell by looking at my house. When I’m busy that’s what I let slide, my house. What slips when you’re on the run?

Thanks again!

Great job on getting over 200! Laundry slips when I am on the run. I am trying to figure out the best way to tackle laundry since beginning our homeschool journey this school year. I am hoping to get this down pack before January when my husband deploys for 6 months. Any suggestions? Anyone?

Wow, you can make even the doggie bucket look artful. When it comes to business I'm an all or nothing kind of gal. Either the house is tidy, there's a home-cooked meal on the table and the laundry's in the dryer or the house is a wreck and we eat out while wearing yesterday's sweatshirt. Glad to hear someone else struggles with the little details.

Toys get literally pushed to the corner or dumped in any ole basket when we're BUSY!! Congrats on over 200 followers!!!

The stairs! When things get nutty around here, we start stacking things on the stairs...things that must go up and things that must go down. Of course during all the craziness either happens. Oh and the laundry piles up so high I can barely open the laundry room door.

I like taking different kinds of pictures too. There is something about capturing the image of something plain and when you look at it out of context, there is a special beauty about it.

When I'm on the run... cooking, laundry and science often take the backburner!

Hey - it's a great looking dog bucket pic! :-)

For me, when busy, it is housework also - and cooking. Hubby finds himslef BBQing a lot when I am on the go.
