Can you guess what we’re doing today?

I know I was going to talk about the jeans I found, but I’ve been busy. Making potato soup for tonight, taking our family Christmas photo, editing said photos, preparing for Trunk or Treat at our church, cleaning house… October 31st is a busy day.

failed family photo

This is so typical of our kids I’m tempted to use it for our card. At least everyone looks happy instead of mad and screaming.

Notice the clicker in my hand (and the fact that I just had a big plate of lasagna and forgot to suck in my stomach, no forget it, don’t notice that)? Best money I ever spent. No more running to my place after I set the timer. You can find the one I have down on the far right in my sidebar. There’s a link to my Amazon page.

Happy Halloween!

You are so funny! I always forget to suck in my tummy! And when I realize that I've forgotten, I wonder who's noticed!! Love the photo! Hope you have fun this weekend!

OK, I need help! And I think you are the woman to give it...I hope anyway!

I think we have the same camera...but you are getting better shots and I'm determined to find out how! :-)

I typically shoot in AV mode...but I am finding that in some of my shots of groups of people some are in focus and some are not. I think this is to do with my F-stop being too low...

Also, do you use a prime lens? I am using a 55-250 Telephoto and the 18-55 that came with my camera. You also seem to get such good natural lighting in your photos. I never seem to let enough into the pic.

It seems that the prime lenses let more light in but I'm afraid of losing my zoom.

Any ideas or suggestions? :-)

Great pic by the way!

I think you look beautiful!

I hate it when I forget to suck in my gut. Except most people notice... unlike you, I look and still can't tell.
